Inside of Schoensee Mennonite Church 1909 - 1934

This photo has been submitted by our relative Wilma (Goerz) Turner of St Catharines, Ontario. Wilma has a history of Goerz relatives connected to this church.
Note the ceiling painted by an Italian and the chandelier from Italy.

  1. Wow! This is remarkable. When we visited this church in 2007 there was no roof and it was overgrown with trees - on the inside. We entered the church and some members of our group climbed the trees.

Our pictures are mostly from the outside of the church back in 07. Sonja has some really nice interior pictures. Perhaps she'll add them.
