Born in Mariawohl 1937 - 1939

The Fransens that did not emigrate to Canada in 1926 remained in Mariawohl, Molotschna until into WW II. The last Fransen to be born in Mariawohl was Erich Fransen born January 1940, who lives south of Moscow.
The woman pictured with Herb Fransen is Tina Enns Wiebe (daughter of Liese Fransen Enns, the oldest living cousin born 1912).
The three women above, are sisters, Lisa Fransen Janzen born 1937, Maria Fransen Kisser born 1947, and Katharina Fransen Warkentin born 1939. Lisa and Katharina were born in Mariawohl. Maria was born when the family had been re-located to Kazakhstan. They are daughters of Nikolai Fransen (1913 - 1981)
